YCW 2019 - Reflecting on today. The weather was absolutely beautiful. We ended our evening with “Minute To Win It” games followed by a devotion on balance from Mike and a few testimony minutes. What an awesome evening we had. I asked God before we went this weekend to just be present. Be here among us, and he definitely was. The Lord showed up and in a big way. We had teens praying for and praying over their friends. We had 2 new salvations and 3 rededication’s. We took It to the pool for our baptisms and if you’ve never been to a baptism in the pool of a hotel then you’re really missing out. We luckily were surrounded by other Christians who cheered with us as these teens made some bold statements for the Lord tonight. I am again reminded that the Lord has promised good to us, and tonight he did just that.-Niki
We made it to 2019 YCW! Pray for us old people 🤣

7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the exceeding greatness of the power may be of God, and not from ourselves; 8 we are pressed on every side, yet not straitened; perplexed, yet not unto despair; 9 pursued, yet not forsaken; smitten down, yet not destroyed; (2 Corinthians 4:7)
Daily Devotion: Unto Death Acts 7:55 "But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looked up stedfastly into heaven, and saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God." Jesus Christ transformed Stephen's life. Acts 6:8-10 says that he was "full of faith and power" and that the Jews debating him "were not able to resist the wisdom." Our concluding verses come after Stephen's discourse before the Sanhedrin. His Spirit-filled preaching convicted them, and they became an angry mob. Stephen, knowing the danger but being filled with the Holy Ghost, looked to heaven and saw the glory of God and Jesus. That sight caused him to cry out, "Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God" (Acts 7:56). These words infuriated the council and signed Stephen's death warrant. They dragged him off and stoned him. Yet as the stones struck Stephen, he forgave them, praying, "Lord, lay not this sin to their charge" (v. 60). After Stephen's martyrdom, severe persecution began, and Christians fled Jerusalem. However, they shared the gospel of Christ wherever they settled. Stephen stood faithful and forgiving unto death. Should persecution come to us, may God keep us faithful and forgiving.
